My friend doesn’t speak much English. She is shy and easily intimidated. Her name is Nongnut Rongen and she lives in Thailand.

Her Dutch Husband recently died in the Netherlands. Her Husband’s brother told her that her Husband did not leave a will and did not have any estate to leave her and told her to go away, and not contact the family again.

Nongnut was solely dependent on her husband’s income. She had no other means of support.

I was concerned on her behalf that there was not a last will and testament and was wondering if there was some way of finding out if there was a will and testament left by the deceased.

I understand that there is a registry of all wills and testaments in The Netherlands but I do not know how to access it.

If we were to find out that there was a will we would hire a law firm to reveal its content and if there was a reasonable chance of receiving some benefit we would probably try to come to a settlement with the family with the help of a law firm.

The deceased details are as follows:

Rosano Rongen

Died: 13th October 2016

Died in the district of Limburg in the Netherlands.

Date of birth: 3rd March 1962.
